Concert classes are offered throughout the school year. Auditions are held at the end of each year to determine band placement for the upcoming year. Students are placed in a group based on musical ability, attitude, and instrumentation. Intense work is done to push each student to become the best player possible. Each spring the wind ensemble travels to the State Band Contest to allow students an opportunity to showcase their musical talents.
