Allie Sullivan

Clayton High School Bands - Color Guard Instructor
Ms. Allie Sullivan is so excited to coach at the same school where she marched in high school. She followed in her older sister's footsteps and performed in both Marching Color Guard & Winter Guard at Clayton High School from 2011-2015. She discovered her love of performance arts at a young age, starting with dancing at the age of 2 1/2. Over her dance career, she specialized in multiple dance styles, including tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, and modern dance. After graduating from Clayton High School, she attended Meredith College in Raleigh, NC, uncovering another one of her artistic passions in theatre. In 2019, she won first place in Allied Arts and Design at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region IV, advancing nationally to place third at the United States Institute for Theatre Technology. She continues to cultivate her talents for the performing arts, performing professionally in the Raleigh theatre community for the last seven years. In addition to her color guard instructor responsibilities, Ms. Sullivan is also the theatre teacher at Clayton High School. She is very grateful for her collaborative partnership with Ms. Kristen Hatcher, using their combined talents to teach students the art of performing in Color Guard. In her free time, Ms. Sullivan loves to read, paint, travel, and act. She hopes to continue traveling around the world during breaks from school. She is excited to help grow the Clayton Comets Color Guard and instill a deep appreciation for the arts in all of her students!
